In Brief:

Alex Navarro has been dedicated professionally to the world of clowning and theatre since 1986. He has participated in a variety of shows and at the same time been developing his search for his own style in urban intervention, a search which culminated in 1993 with the performance of "L'HOME XOC" and continues with "EL BEBE". With these self created shows he has worked in festivals in SPAIN, ANDORRA, PORTUGAL, FRANCE, ITALY, SWITZERLAND, GERMANY, SWEDEN, ENGLAND, ISRAEL, INDONESIA and CANADA.

In stage he works with clowns renowned like Jango Edwards or Johnie Melville and in front of artists like Elizabeth Taylor, Peter Gabriel (photo), Susan Sarandon, Natalie Portman, Janet Jackson or Barbara Streisand.

Apart from his individual proposals as a clown he has also been a member of :

• Cirque du Soleil during 1998-99 in the show "Mystere" in Las Vegas (U.S.A.) in a total of 600 shows.

• Cia Contre Pour (France) in the show "Les Hommes en Noir" during 1995. Contre-Pour is a company of recognized international prestige within the street theatre world, theatre which they realize in it's purist form, without words and based in improvisation. Their performances become true happenings that alter the very order and rythmn of the city. With "Les Hommes en Noir" he worked in SPAIN, FRANCE, HOLLAND, ENGLAND AND RUSSIA.

• He has also formed part of an improvised trio with Jango Edwards and Johnny Melville (special performance in "La Sala Bikini", Barcelona 1997) as well as collaborating as invited artist in Jango Edward's show "The Bust of Jango" (Mercat de les Flors 1997).
